An alleged burglar was killed early Tuesday by a male victim after presumably attempting to commit sexual abuse against the man’s spouse
A victim allegedly killed an alleged burglar early Tuesday in the Fraccionamiento Condesa area, according to media reports.
The authorities received a call regarding the incident.
Upon arrival, the police found a man and a woman who had several injuries.
Also, the authorities found a deceased man.
According to the reports, the suspect, who was not immediately identified, entered the residence with a tool while the couple was sleeping.
Angel “N,” 25, and Karla Cecilia “N,” 23, were struck in the head with the tool.
Police reports say the suspect then took the male victim to a bedroom and tied him.
The female victim was taken to another bedroom and demanded cash. The woman told the police the suspect allegedly attempted to sexually abuse her.
Angel was able to release himself and took a kitchen.
The suspect was injured in the chest and succumbed to the injury.
Red Cross paramedics transported the couple to a hospital of the Mexican Institute of Social Security.
The suspect was declared dead.
Man formally accused of April homicide
A man who allegedly killed another individual back in April in the Fraccionamiento Valle de las Misiones area during a fight was indicted by a state judge, the Attorney General’s office said.
Hugo César “N,” was indicted for the April 27 homicide of José Carlos “N,” in a residence located by Puertezuelo Avenue.
According to the investigations the victim was holding an argument with several individuals between 10:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. in front of the residence.
Suddenly, the suspect allegedly arrived at the scene and struck the victim’s head with a wooden bar.
The victim fell unconscious on the ground and was transported to the General Hospital.
According to the report the victim died of head trauma, the agency said.
The judge decided to keep the suspect in custody during trial and provided prosecutors three months to close the investigation.
Corpse found inside burned vehicle
A man was found dead early Monday inside a burned vehicle in the Colonia Libertad area, according to police reports.
The incident was reported to the police at 2:05 a.m. in Madereros Avenue and L Street.
Mexicali firefighters were deployed to the scene along with police agents after a burning vehicle was reported.
After extinguishing the fire, the authorities found the corpse in the back seat.
Man convicted of May 2020 homicide
A man was sentenced by a state judge after being found guilty for the May 2020 homicide of an individual in the Colonia Nacozari area.
The state Attorney General’s office said Manuel Axel Garcia Garibay was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
According to the agency said the sentencing was based on an agreement between defense attorneys and prosecutors.
Authorities said the homicide took place in the intersection of Independencia Avenue and Montejano Boulevard.
Garcia Garibay hit the victim with a metal tube.
The victim succumbed to the injuries.
Then, Garcia Garibay attempted to burn the victim’s body and fled from the scene. State police officers found and arrested Garcia Garibay days later.
Judge indicts sexual abuse suspect
A man who was accused of sexual abuse was indicted by a state judge, the Attorney General’s office said.
The judge indicted Roberto, no age reported, for the July 2021 sexual abuse case allegedly occurred in a Fraccionamiento Palmar de Santa Anita area.
The suspect allegedly abused a minor of less than 14 years of age.
Through victim testimony, tests and witness statements, prosecutors were able to get an arrest warrant.
The authorities apprehended Roberto last week.
During the indictment hearing the judge decided to keep the suspect in prison during trial and gave prosecutors two months to close the investigation.
