The suspect was driving over the speed limit and almost hit a patrol car.
Police officers stopped the driver, who was identified as Eleazar “Doe,” of Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico.

Suspects indicted for car robbery
Six men were indicted for their alleged involvement in different cases of car robbery, said the Attorney General’s office.
Assistant Attorney General in Mexicali Fernando Ramirez said one of the suspects indicted was identified as Rodolfo “Doe,” who along with another individual threatened with a firearm a customer of a store at Fraccionamiento Natura.
The suspects stole the client’s cell phone and the keys of a 2002 white Chevrolet Silverado King Cab pickup.
The judge determined the suspect must remain in jail for the remainder of his trial.
Adrian “Doe” was indicted too for the April 6 car robbery of a motorcycle at Fraccionamiento Valle de Puebla, Ramirez said.
The motorcycle was parked outside a residence when the suspect allegedly arrived on scene and threatened the owner with a firearm.
The suspect then fled on the motorcycle and was arrested by Mexicali police officers.
Ramirez said the suspect has criminal background for possession of a vehicle reported stolen.
Jesús Germán “Doe” and Lorenzo Antonio “Doe” were indicted for a robbery reported on April 27 at Taquería Doña Estela at Colonia Pueblo Nuevo, south of the Calexico downtown port of entry.
One of the suspects brandished a firearm against a customer and took her purse, a cell phone and the keys of a 1997 Ford Taurus in which they fled.
The customer was eventually confined the victim inside a restroom.
Mexicali police officers found and arrested the suspects several blocks away from the eatery.
Ramirez said Jesús Germán had criminal background related to assault.

A witness told authorities a 2005 Chevy Luv was stolen from Frutería La Chinita located at Fourth Street and San Pedro Mezquital Street in the unincorporated area of Gonzalez Ortega, also known as Palaco in eastern Mexicali.
The victim, an employee with Empresa Distribuciones KRIS company, reported the vehicle was stolen from outside the business.
The vehicle was found at Colonia Ladrillera del Colorado in rural Mexicali, where the suspects were caught dismantling parts of the vehicle, Ramirez said.
Second homicide suspect arrested
Another man involved in the murder of a male was arrested in a rural town of Mexicali Valley, said the Attorney General’s office.
Authorities said state police officers arrested Daryl “Doe,” 30, of San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, while walking on a street of Ejido Durango.
The man matched the physical characteristics of a suspect who along with a previously arrested individual identified as Miguel Angel took part of the homicide of Julio César at Ejido Durango.
Authorities said the suspects killed the victim by punching him and causing injuries with a machete.
