Man indicted for robbery
An individual was indicted Monday by a state judge for his alleged involvement in a residential robbery, said the Attorney General’s office.
Authorities identified the suspect as Fabricio Antonio “Doe,” 25, who was apparently involved in the July 3 robbery reported at Fraccionamiento Oasis 3 subdivision.
The agency said the suspect and an accomplice presumably entered a residence located at Abundancia Street while a female resident was sleeping.
The suspects were exiting the scene when the victim woke up.
The suspects demanded money from the victim.
The resident called the police while the suspects inspected another area.
Police officers arrested the suspect after a vehicle chase that ended at Islas Agrarias highway in northeastern Mexicali.
The judge ruled to keep the suspect in jail while on trial and gave detectives two months to close the investigation.
