    Mexican congresswoman endorses Hillary

A Mexican lawmaker indirectly endorsed U.S. Presidential Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, against her political party views regarding support to foreign politicians.

Congresswoman Nancy Sánchez, a Mexicali member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party, said Mexico and the United States should speak more about their coincidences instead of differences, cooperation instead of distancing and tolerance above intransigence.

“That’s why we wish from the deep of our hearts that our neighboring country be governed by a woman, Hillary Clinton, to keep adding to our good relationship,” she said.

Sánchez took part on a special event Saturday at the border where the 25-member collective art group Entijuanarte unveiled paintings at the border fence, where she condemned “Donald Trump’s racist, intolerant and intransigent speech.”

“It is here in this space where we share the air and the sun, where the wall does not stop us from dreaming, in this world’s corner where we sing mariachi music and dance at the rhythm of tambora or norteño music, or where we eat mole and carne asada, a melting pot of tastes, smells and colors, we cannot and must not allow a message of intolerance and invitation to hatred like Donald Trump’s one,” she added.

Sánchez’s party has always supported the so-called “policy of non-intervention” on issues that only belong to voters and citizens of foreign countries.
