Victims who have reported their vehicles stolen can check online if their automobiles have been recovered by authorities.
The state Secretary of Public Safety said during the last five weeks local, state and federal police officers have seized 971 vehicles statewide.
The agency has a list of the vehicles that have been recovered in the past 30 days.
However, victims can also check for vehicles reported stolen in past years.
Victims just have to provide plate number, series number, date of robbery and the date the claim was filed with the Attorney General’s office.
The list includes the city where the vehicle was found, as well as model, make, year, color, date of seizure and the case number for its return to the owner.
